Important information regarding temporary service provision changes
Cheveley Park Medical Centre is currently undergoing migration to a new patient record system called SystmOne.
The new system will bring substantial benefits for both patients and staff. The migration will affect all aspects of primary care at the surgery for a short time, but these actions are essential to enable the transition.
Prescriptions: As we will not have a live system between 5th and 12th September, you must request your repeat prescription early as we will not be able to issue between these dates. If you will be due another issue during this time, you may receive double your usual amount on this occasion, if it is safe to do so.
Online Access: If you request prescriptions or appointments online, this facility will not be available after 5pm on 26th August until 14th September, when we are live with our new system. Local pharmacies are being informed of the situation.
Patient Access will not be available for online access.
We advise that you download the NHS App and verify your ID via the app, which you will then be able to use once we are live on our new system.
For more information on downloading the NHS app please visit https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-app/
If you do not download the NHS App, you will need to contact the surgery for a new username and password after 14th September and complete a new registration for the SystmOnline/Airmid App (SystmOnline – TPP (tpp-uk.com).
Telephone/Face to Face Appointments: As we have a cut-off period when no patient information can be saved in our current patient record system, we will only be able to deal with urgent issues from 30th August until we are live with our new system on 14th September.
We understand this is a big ask of our patients, but for us to transition smoothly onto the new system we are required to take this course of action. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding whilst we are in transition.
